ABOUT ME
Passion to Inspire Others
Hi there! My name is Nia Kustermann and I'm from Minneapolis, Minnesota! I've been an athlete all of my life, spent six years in the Marine Corps, and seven years as the Wellness Coordinator and Personal Trainer at a behavioral Health and Wellness Facility. I've been lifting weights since middle school, as well as years of experience in Zumba, yoga, spin, HIIT, and running. I've been bodybuilding since 2019 and have competed in local shows here in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2009, I had a major back injury while I was in the Marine Corps and have had a total of six back surgeries.
After experience with my own injury and recovery, the gym really became my safe haven. I spent two years in physical therapy, I couldn't drive for a year, was in and out of the hospital having surgeries and trying everything I could for the pain. I tried the chiropractor, acupuncturist, e-stim, the pain clinic, and the list goes on, but nothing seemed to help. Through all of that, I figured if I was going to be in chronic pain, I might as well be moving around. The gym offered me more relief, comfort, and happiness than any other method. I went back to college and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, attained Personal Training/Nutrition certs and have been helping people with their physical fitness/nutrition goals since 2013.

I specialize in working with those in recovery for addiction, as well as weight loss/management, lifestyle, nutrition/holistic health, behavior change & group training.
